RDB Task Force Transfer of Authority in Congo

(Puspen TNI). The Commander of the Rapid Deployable Battalion (RDB) MONUSCO Task Force XXXIX-B 2020 Col. Inf Daniel Lumbanraja handed over the Operational Control Authority / Transfer of Authority (ToA) to Col. Inf Sandi Kamidianto as the Commander of RDB MONUSCO Task Force XXXIX-C 2021.

 

The handover ceremony was led by the Inspector of the Ceremony, Deputy Commander of the Southern Sector Col. Inf Muhammad Saqib Mushtaqi, at Sudirman Square, Sukarno Camp Indo RDB, Kalemie, Democratic Republic of Congo, Wednesday (24/2).

 

In his remarks, the DC of Southern Sector expressed his gratitude and high appreciation to all soldiers of the RDB MONUSCO Task Force XXXIX-B 2020 led by Col. Inf Daniel Lumbanraja for their performance with zero accident achievement. Likewise, a high expectation is addressed to the Commander of the RDB MONUSCO Task Force XXXIX-C 2021 and his men for being able to face more challenges to achieve the MONUSCO’s main objectives.

 

"A great thank to all soldiers of the RDB MONUSCO Task Force battalion XXXIX-B for carrying out your duties, you have shown high dedication and professionalism in carrying out the peacekeeping mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo", said the Deputy.

 

Meanwhile, the ToA ceremony was carried out symbolically by handing over the UN Flag as well as the Swagger Stick from Col. Inf Daniel Lumbanraja to Col. Inf Sandi Kamidianto.

 

In addition, a total of 850 soldiers of the RDB MONUSCO Task Force XXXIX-C 2021 who will be carrying out the UN peacekeeping mandate consists of joint armed force services, namely the Army, Navy and the Air Force including 47 female military peacekeepers.
