(PUSPEN TNI). The Garuda Contingent of Mechanical Battalion XXIII-O / UNIFIL prepared its best shooters prior to participating in shooting competition among UNIFIL contingents.
This was stated by the Commander of the Garuda Contingent XXIII-O / UNIFIL Task Force, Col. Inf Amril Haris Isya Siregar, S.E., M.M., while supervising the readiness of the shooters at the Ebel El Saki shooting range (EES) in South Lebanon, Tuesday (23/2/2021).
The Commander said that the Mechanical Battalion has prepared and trained 10 best personnel to participate in the shooting championship as the representative of Garuda Contingent.
Furthermore, the Commander suggested all soldiers who are involving in the shooting exercise must always prioritize personnel and material safety. Indeed, it is also very important to comply with the health protocol to prevent Covid-19 transmission during the exercise.
"Keep your physical distance safely, use a mask and sanitize your hands frequently with soap and hand sanitizer both before and after the exercise," he concluded.
In addition, the shooting exercise led by Lt. inf Agung Eko Prabowo also aimed to maintain the shooting ability of soldiers who must always be sharpened and trained periodically in order to get optimal results during their assignments.
